This is how it looks inside, just full of nutrients, so now I'm going to cut off a little chunk .
My chunks get smaller and smaller as I realize how much comes out of just one little piece, but this was good for my first time, so you'll cut off the spiky little parts on the side, exposing the gel from all angles, and it looks pretty cool, huh?
Then you grab a knife again and cut it right down the middle, creating two halves ready to be applied directly to your face.
So I have my two pieces. There are a couple of different ways to do lists You could scrape out the gel, but I'm just going to use the pieces straight from the plant , starting off on a clean face.
I'm just going to rub it into my skin. Whoa, nice and cool. It's a nice little cooling sensation. Mmm, this is fun.
If you grew up in the 90s, it's like playing GAK all over again, but with skin benefits. I'm going to literally put this everywhere it smells.
I don't know like a plant now I'm going to scrape into the jelly and push that into my skin.
You really do get a lot just from one piece.
I didn't even really need to use both sides of this .
Oh, people make this look so easy on YouTube. So now I've let this mask sit on my face for about 20 minutes, and I'm going to rinse it off with a wet washcloth.
There you go, day 1. To make sure that your libero stays fresh, it is really important to wrap it up in saran wrap and also keep it in the fridge. This will give you at least a full week .
It is now day 2 I'm going to try something different this time . I'm actually going to scrape the aloe Vera out of the plant, so I'm going to cut it the same exact way, but I'm going to use the spoon to just scrape out all of the bits in place, and then I'm going to use my spoon to mix it up and get rid of the large chunks.
Now that I have just the aloe Vera, I'm going to press it into my skin, really letting it moisturize and soak into my pores .
If you have seen these large aloe Vera leaves in stores, please leave a comment and say where you live and where you're able to find the plants so you can help someone else. That completes day 2.
Good morning, it's now day three. I'm grabbing my aloe Vera out of the fridge and we're gonna do it all over again.
I did learn that I did not have to use as much aloe, so I cut much smaller pieces by day three .
I used it every morning and at night and I even did some nights where I let it soak in overnight, but I didn't notice a huge difference between when I did and when I did not, but now that it's nice and cold from the fridge,
I'm going to smooth this over my skin. Today is day four. Things were getting better , so small little blemishes, but let's at least see if it'll get rid of all the scars, not to be discouraged.
I do not think that my little breakout happened because of the aloe Vera , I think it just happened because I have acne prone skin, so I'm not expecting it to just like cure my acne, but let's see what this does. Then on day four, I started to experiment with a hot towel and kind of get myself a little steam room facial by letting the hot towel sit on my face before wiping it off. This is going to open the pores and really just let everything soak in.
Now it's day five and guess what we're going to do the same thing all over again every morning ? Just keep masking, just keep masking. What do we do? We mask the mess
Come on skin, I'm rooting for you, so I got another little piece, using my nail to get more of that gel.
How'd it come out? Because a little goes a long way. I just really want this to work now that I am using a hot towel once again . This was my new, like, everything to do. Think of it just like house weed, deep conditioned to open up the pores in our hair. It does the same thing for us.
And now on day 7 . This is how much Oliveira I had left for the last day, getting down to the ends, but I did notice that when I cut it . I mean, I could have probably made it last another day, but I had a lot of aloe Vera leaves to use, so I figured I might as well get the nice clear good stuff, but I will say that when cut correctly, one aloe Vera leaf can last you a full week if used every morning and night.
So on day 7, this is how my skin is looking on the last day of my aloe Vera mask challenge.
I do think that everything looked a little bit lighter on my skin... it's not perfect, I still have some blemishes, but we'll see how much this can change overnight. Alright, so here we are at the end of seven days of aloe Vera masks .
My last day was yesterday, so I finally got a final look at my skin, which isn't perfect; I still have scarring.
I did not get outstanding results. I couldn't just sit here and title this post "Aloe Vera is Cancelled."
People wrote that they used aloe Vera all the time and it does amazing things for your skin, and you have to try things for yourself to see how they work, and that's what I did, so I do think that my skin felt very moisturized.
I think they have started to fade my scars now from a lot of the other YouTube videos that I watched about aloe Vera . A lot of those girls either put witch hazel on their skin after maybe apple cider vinegar . They had different types of moisturizers, so all the different things that we put on our faces play a factor, so I was trying not to really use too many other products during this hour. It was a challenge to see how well the libero would work on its own, but this coming week I'm going to take this challenge to the next level.
I'm going to continue to use the aloe Vera but I think what I want to do is go back to my Macari toner and I think I want to start using the Jena Door Even Tone Retinol Complex Serum. So I'm going to now mix the natural aloe Vera with some different skin care products that I have and I'm going to see how everybody works together, but overall I'm still very glad that I tried this challenge. As you can see, I tried aloe Vera by rubbing it on my skin.
I tried taking it out. I haven't done the whole like mix it up in a blender and add essential oils yet. Like I said, I wanted to try the aloe Vera just on its own before I started making different concoctions, so I might experiment. Let me know what you guys want me to try with the LeBron neck. I probably will do it Let me know in the comments, let's make it happen. If you enjoyed this weekly experiment
